Summary:
Sugar stuck in traffic during labor, can't reach anyone (Carmy, Sydney, Pete, Marcus, Richie) because they're at restaurant service. Forced to call mother Donna (Jamie Lee Curtis) as last resort. Donna meets her at hospital, initially coaches breathing with 'hee hee hee' causing more stress. Doctor says she's only 5-6 cm dilated. Donna shares birth stories of all three children: Mikey (twisted, didn't want to come out), Carmy (father present, long painful labor with fighting), Sugar (beautiful birth with dream about fish tank, 'Baby I Love You' by The Ronettes playing). Sugar and Donna bond over ice chips. Honest conversation about trauma - Sugar: 'I just didn't want all the stuff that you bring with you.' Donna plays 'Baby I Love You,' both cry and reconcile. Pete finally arrives, Donna waits in hallway. Fak brothers arrive calling her 'grandma.'
